Dibru Saikhoa National Park, Kaziranga National Park & Gibbon Wildlife Sanctury
Arrive at Dibrugarh airport/Railway station you will be received and greet by our company representative and transfer to Tinsukia. Check in hotel. Evening free at leisure. Overnight halt at Tinsukia.
Today morning after breakfast drive to visit Dibru-Saikhowa NP – this is one of the biodiversity hot spot and known for its Wild Horse and the home of the endangered White Winged Wood Duck. Whole day in Dibru-Saikhowa NP. Jungle activity: Boating at Dibru River, Jungle walk, Bird watching and Gangetic Dolphin sightseeing. Then back to Tinsukia. Overnight halt at Tinsukia.
This morning drive to Jorhat. On the way to Jorhat visit Sibsagar – Once the capital of the Ahom dynasty who ruled Assam from 1228 to 1826 AD. Here you can see the 200 years old monuments built by the Ahom rulers. The Shiva Dol (A Hindu Shiva Temple), Rang Ghar – served as a royal sports-pavilion from where the Ahom kings and nobles witnessed games like buffalo fight and other sports. Evening free for leisure. Overnight halt at Jorhat.
After breakfast proceed to Gibbon Wildlife Sanctuary – named after one of the most endangered peimates called Hoolock Gibbon, the only Ape found in India. This sanctuary is more than 22sq. Km and has the highest concentration of these animal species in the world. It is a unique sanctuary of an isolated forest surrounded by tea gardens and human settlements. Afternoon drive to Kaziranga – a World Heritage Site and famous for Great Indian One Horned Rhino. Overnight halt at Kaziranga.
Early morning Elephant ride (5.30-6.30am/6.30-7.30am) in the central/western range of the park then back to resort for breakfast and rest of the day till lunch is free. After lunch enjoy an exclusive Jeep safari in the western/central range (2.30pm onwards) of the park. Overnight at Kaziranga.
