Wild Life in Assam 9 night 10 days

Arrive at Guwahati airport, received and transferred to hotel. After refreshment visit Kamakhya Mandir, Balaji Mandir and also visit Shankardeva Kalakshetra. Evening enjoy the river cruise on the river Brahmaputra. Overnight at Guwahati.

Morning after breakfast proceed to Manas National Park – a World heritage site, Tiger project Reserve and an Important Bird Area. On the way to Manas visit Sualkuchi – Silk weaving centre of Assam and known as the ‘Manchester of Assam’. Check in hotel on arrival. Overnight at Manas.

Early Morning go for Elephant safari then back to hotel for breakfast and rest of the day till lunch is free. After lunch go for Jeep safari inside the National Park to the hill of Bhutan. Evening free for local sightseeing. O/N at Manas.

After having breakfast you will be taken to visit Orang National Park. Enjoy Jeep safari to the interiors of Orang National Park. Evening free for leisure. O/N at Orang.

After breakfast drive towards Nameri – a birders paradise famous for some the rarest birds and the core area of Nameri Tiger Reserve. Evening explore surround of the camp on foot. Overnight at Nameri.

Today enjoy adventure activities in Nameri. After breakfast go for trekking through Nameri forest to explore its major wildlife (2-3hrs) or enjoy river rafting at Jia-Bharali River (2-3hrs) (optional). Evening free for leisure. Overnight at Nameri.

This morning drive to Kaziranga National Park – a world heritage site and famous for Great Indian One Horned Rhino.  En-route you can visit Tezpur – known for its monuments and temples. Evening free for own activity. Overnight halt at Kaziranga.

Early morning Elephant ride (5.30-6.30am/6.30-7.30am) in the central/western range of the park then back to resort for breakfast and rest of the day till lunch is free. After lunch enjoy an exclusive Jeep safari in the western/central range (2.30pm onwards) of the park. Overnight at Kaziranga.

Today morning drive to Guwahati. Rest of the day free for own activity. Overnight at Guwahati.

This morning after breakfast transfer to Guwahati airport/railway station to depart by for your onward destination.
